Coronavirus (COVID-19) and remote learning

Sandiway Primary School resumed for face-to-face learning for all pupils from 2nd September 2021. Attendance in school is compulsory from this date. An updated risk assessment reflects the Government's latest guidance - it should be noted that should the school or local area have an outbreak of COVID-19, additional measures may have to be immediately implemented. This information will be communicated as soon as possible.

Remote Learning - please see the document below which details how are learning is operating online.

Access to devices - we are able to lend you a laptop or iPad for use during the lockdown period. Please contact school if you would like a device.

Access to software - please contact school if you have problems with the software needed to access the remote learning (including Microsoft password resetting etc).

Winter Grant Scheme - you may be eligible to claim additional funding through the Local Authority to support you where you have suffered financial hardship. Visit Cheshire West and Chester's website for more information.

Well-being - the national lockdown is having an effect on us all. It is important to consider your well-being and mental health. We have some information on our school website, which may help.

COVID-19 Catch Up Action Plan - the Government has committed to additional financial contributions during 2020-21 to support the closing of gaps in learning due to the disruptions of the last year, our action plan can be viewed below.
