Friday 12th December
I hope you are enjoying looking around the school website. We have recently added some more images and videos. It is certainly worth having a look at the music page for some great singing and dancing.

We are working with the staff on adding more content to the website and I feel that using these blogs are a useful way of letting you know what has been happening in school. I am encouraging the staff to add to their own blogs..these can be accessed from the top-left corner of the website and by choosing the relevant year group. This can be great to let you know what your child has done in school when they respond with "...nothing much!"
Monday 29th September
A very busy week last week in school for me, which culminated in welcoming so many people to school on Friday for our Coffee Morning. Well done to the children who sang so well to entertain our visitors.
Monday 22nd September
I had a lovely day today with the Year 1 and Year 2 children as we explored Jodrell Bank. The children were very interested in all they saw and heard.
Friday 12th September
Another busy week has passed by. I always look forward to a Friday as we have our celebration assembly just before home time. Each week one member of each class is nominated for the 'Headteacher's Award' - a recognition of something special that has happened in class that week. It is lovely to see the surprise and joy on children's faces as they hear their name called out to receive the award.
Another highlight is bacon butties - a real teat for the children! A simple pleasure in life! We have these every other Friday morning.
How are the children getting on with the reading challenge? Each time the children read for 10 minutes, they can move their progress on their 'round the world' trip by one step. After a lot of exciting reading, the children will journey around the world. I wonder which children will be the fastest round the world? I will ask them in assembly today!
